Barnes and Noble Fundraiser, Part Deux

We're excited to announce that the SECOND Unbound Book Festival Book Fair at Barnes & Noble in the Columbia Mall will take place on Saturday, December 12. 

We will be having a variety of fun events in the store throughout the day, including visits from a couple of fairy princesses for children's story time, and a series of readings by local authors. There will be a team of Unbound volunteers on hand to tell you more about the festival and we will be offering a free gift wrapping service all day. There will also be a chance to enter a (free) raffle with baskets of signed books, a Barnes & Noble gift card, and other Unbound goodies as prizes. 

Why do we do this? On book fair days, Barnes & Noble contributes a percentage of all money spent at the store by someone with the Unbound voucher number directly back to the festival. In other words, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to raise much-needed funds to give Columbia the book festival it deserves. Just about every purchase counts - books, gifts, music, DVDs, educational toys and games... even coffee and cheesecake at the coffee shop. So, if you're planning on some Christmas shopping, please stop by Barnes & Noble on December 12. Come visit with us, learn about who is coming to the festival in April, and help us raise a little money! (Oh, and it costs you nothing.)

PS: If you can't make it to the Columbia store on December 12, that's OK. Any Barnes & Noble store in the country will accept the code and it will count toward our total for purchases made on that day. In fact, you don't even have to leave the house: you can still help by shopping online and entering the voucher at checkout.
