Cherise Wolas’s highly acclaimed debut novel, The Resurrection of Joan Ashby, was published in August 2017. It is longlisted for the 2019 International Dublin Literary Award, was longlisted for the 2018 PEN/Robert W. Bingham Debut Fiction Prize, named a New York Times Editor’s Choice, an ABA Indie Next Great Read, and a Best Novel, Best Debut Novel, and Top 10 First Novel by various outlets. Already published in the UK, Poland, and Turkey, it is being translated into French, Hebrew, and several other foreign languages.
The Family Tabor, her second novel, was published in July 2018 in the US and in August 2018 in the UK. The Chicago Review of Books calls it “a hypnotic generational saga, elegant, cerebral and finely tuned.
