Karma Wilson
Children’s author Karma Wilson will be attending Unbound this April! She’ll be appearing at certain elementary schools within the Columbia Public School system on Friday as part of the “Authors in the Schools” program, and then on Saturday she’ll be presenting for the general public at the Warehouse Theatre on the Stephens College campus. We can’t wait!
Karma Wilson has had more than 30 books accepted for publication. Her books have received numerous state and national awards, been translated into dozens of languages, and a few have made an appearance on the New York Times bestseller list. Karma sincerely hopes that her books bring joy to children and families everywhere. Karma writes humorous, rhythmic picture books for the very young and books that share her faith in a fun, understandable way with the youngest readers. Karma is also pursuing her love of outrageously silly but sometimes philosophic poetry for older children, and has a book of poems coming out in a few years titled What’s the Weather Like Inside which will be illustrated by Barry Blitt. Karma lives with her husband and three children, two dogs, one cat and four horses on a small ranch in Montana. Her hobbies include reading, photography, baking, and training Mixed Martial Arts with her family.
