Meg Waite Clayton is coming to Unbound!
One of our favorite books of 2019 was the international bestseller, The Last Train to London, by Meg Waite Clayton. The novel is based on the true story of the Kindertransport rescue of ten thousand children from Nazi-occupied Europe—and one brave woman who helped them escape. It’s a gripping, emotional read, and will stay with the reader for a long time after the final page has been turned. We’re delighted to be welcoming Meg to Columbia to talk about this wonderful novel.
Meg Waite Clayton’s prior novels include the Langum-Prize honored The Race for Paris; Beautiful Exiles, a #1 online fiction bestseller; and The Wednesday Sisters, a New York Times bestseller and one of Entertainment Weekly's 25 Essential Best Friend Novels of all time. A graduate of the University of Michigan and its law school, she has also written for the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, Forbes, Runners World, and public radio.
