And what a treat it is. We can’t wait to welcome Ann Dávila Cardinal to this year’s festival, where she’ll be joining Gabino Iglesias on our thriller/horror panel. One not to miss!
Ann Dávila Cardinal is a Vermont-based, Latine writer who earned her MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her young adult novels include horror duology Five Midnights (winner of a 2020 International Latino Book Award and a finalist for a Bram Stoker), and Category Five, both from TorTeen. Her horror-rom-com YA novel Breakup from Hell is out January 3rd, 2023 from HarperCollins. The Storyteller’s Death. a magical realist novel and her adult debut, was released on October 4, 2022, and her second book with Sourcebooks, We Need No Wings, is scheduled for release in March of 2024. Ann spends her free time doing fiber arts, cycling, and preparing for the zombie apocalypse.
