Christopher Leonard

Christopher Leonard is a business reporter whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Fortune, and Time magazine. He is the New York Times bestselling author of The Lords of Easy Money: How the Federal Reserve Broke the American Economy, The Meat Racket and Kochland, which won the J. Anthony Lukas Work-in-Progress Award. Chris was born and raised in Kansas City, and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He is director of The Watchdog Writers Group at MU, a nonprofit investigative reporting center. The Watchdog Writers Group provides grants to authors writing a book in the public interest, while pairing each author with a student reporter at the MU School of Journalism.
