Sunday is our THIRD Barnes & Noble Book Fair!
Do you have Christmas shopping to do? Of course you do. Are you going to buy books? Of course you are.
May we please ask you a small favor, then?
This Sunday, December 11, is the festival's third Barnes and Noble Book Fair. A percentage of everything that you spend - and not just on books! - at the Barnes and Noble store at Columbia Mall this Sunday will be donated by Barnes and Noble to the festival. It helps us out tremendously and it costs you nothing.
What's more, there will be a series of talks and readings throughout the day from writers who will be appearing at the festival in April - so you can think of this as a mini-preview of the event itself. Here's the schedule of writers and poets:
11.00 Ibtisam Barakat
12.00 Jill Orr
1.00 Brian Katcher
2.00 Monica Hand and Aliki Barnstone
3.00 Alex George
We'll also be offering free gift-wrap services for anyone who wants it and will be holding a raffle for a Barnes and Noble gift card worth $100.
You can also shop online from Sunday until the following Thursday and the same deal applies - we get a percentage of what you spend - but you'll need to input the following code at checkout: 11868197.
Thanks! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
PS: If you have a moment, we'd LOVE it if you could take two minutes to go to the CoMoGives website and throw us a buck or two. The festival is totally free to the public, and so we rely on the support of the community to meet our expenses. If you enjoyed Unbound last year, or are planning to go in April, please consider making a tax-deductible donation, no matter how small. Every dollar helps! Thanks!!
PPS: Have you reserved your free tickets to Salman Rushdie yet??
