We are thrilled to announce that Ibtisam Barakat will be speaking at next year's Unbound Book Festival!

Ibtisam is an award-winning Palestinian-American author of the international memoirs: TASTING THE SKY, a Palestinian Childhood, and BALCONY ON THE MOON, Coming of Age in Palestine. She is also a poet, essayist, translator, public speaker, artist and the author of books in Arabic. She is the founder of Write Your Life seminars.

Her name has a meaning: Ibtisam means a smile in Arabic, and Barakat means blessings - and if you've ever met Ibtisam, you will know that she could not have been better named. We look forward to what we already know will be a wonderfully compelling and entertaining presentation next April.
